2025-2026 New Board Members & Executive Officers Announced

New Executive Board Leadership
We are excited to welcome Tenia Smith (Greater Holy Temple Christian Academy and co-founder of F.E.A.R.) as our new Board Chair, previously served as Vice Chair and has been a devoted champion of Girls on the Run for more than eight years. Her long-standing leadership and dedication to empowering girls make her a powerful voice for our organization.
Kristin Rutter (Milwaukee Brewers) has been elected Vice Chair, joining the board in 2024 and quickly becoming a driving force in deepening community partnerships and supporting our growth.
We’re also pleased to have Becky Miller (Northwestern Mutual - Denise Beaulier Team) return as Treasurer bringing continued financial expertise and thoughtful leadership. In addition, Glenna Scholle-Malone (Milwaukee Public Schools) continues her role as Secretary—her deep roots in education and youth development have been instrumental to our board's mission-driven approach.

New Board Members
Joining the Board of Directors this year are five dynamic leaders whose professional skills and personal passion align strongly with the values of Girls on the Run:

  • Laura Hackbarth (KPMG): A past 5K attendee and cheer squad member, Laura brings expertise in finance, accounting, board governance, and organizational leadership.

  • Chris Eisold (Northwestern Mutual): A proud Girls on the Run parent and past 5K buddy, Chris offers valuable experience in investments, legal oversight, and governance.

  • Ashley McNulty (Godfrey & Kahn): Though her time as a coach was brief due to the pandemic, Ashley brings valuable insights in legal affairs, HR, and public speaking.

  • Camille Ffrench (Concordia University): A past coach at MCP 38th Street, Camille brings strengths in wellness, leadership, and DEI through both her academic and entrepreneurial work.

  • Jissella Serrano (Molson Coors): A current coach at Country Dale Elementary, Jissella brings strategic planning experience and strong community ties in networking, coaching, and diversity initiatives.

As we continue to grow and serve more girls across Southeastern Wisconsin, we are deeply grateful for the leadership and support of this dynamic and dedicated Board. Together, we look forward to another impactful year filled with confidence-building, joy, and girl empowerment.
