As a SoleMate, every mile you run helps ensure that more girls across Southeastern Wisconsin gain access to the life-changing Girls on the Run program. This isn’t just a race. It’s a movement.

Choose Your Distance
Marathon – 26.2 Miles
Half Marathon – 13.1 Miles
The Marathon (26.2) may be right for you if you:
- Are ready to challenge yourself with a longer-distance goal
- Have prior running experience (helpful, but not required)
- Can commit to a 16-week training journey
- Have time for longer weekend runs
- Feel comfortable training toward a 6.5-hour finish (approx. 14:40–14:45 pace)
The Half Marathon (13.1) may be right for you if you:
- Are newer to distance running or getting back into it
- Want a meaningful challenge that fits a busy schedule
- Prefer shorter long runs while still building endurance
- Want to make an impact without the higher time commitment

When you join SoleMates, you’re committing to more than training—you’re stepping into a journey of growth, connection, and impact.
Over 16 weeks, you’ll train alongside a supportive community while raising critical funds that empower girls to build confidence, develop life skills, and cross their own finish lines.

What You’ll Experience as a SoleMate
As a SoleMate, you’re not just preparing for race day—you’re helping ensure that every girl has access to a program that can change her life. 💙
Here’s what your journey includes:
- 50% OFF race registration for the Marathon or Half Marathon
- 16 Week training plan from Coach Nicole
- Personalized coaching support, including strength training, core work, stretching, foam rolling, and pace guidance
- Easy to use training app
- Group training runs with your SoleMates team
- Weekly communication including fundraising coaching & resources and ongoing support from Girls on the Run staff
- Team events and connections within the local running community
- Exclusive SoleMates swag and VIP SoleMate experience on Race Day
Fundraising Can Be Fun—And We’re With You Every Step
As a SoleMate, your fundraising directly supports girls in our community.
Marathon
- $1,500 minimum
- Supports a full team of Girls on the Run participants
Half Marathon
- $1,000 minimum
- Supports four girls in the program
All fundraising must be completed by October 17, 2026 at 6:00 PM
SoleMates who meet their goal by September 15 will unlock exclusive VIP perks. **
** If your fundraising minimum is not met by October 17, the remaining balance will be charged to your card on file **
** Registering to be a SoleMate does not automatically register you for the Lake Front Marathon**
